Who says you cannot use a floppy drive if you have a computer without a built in floppy disk drive? An external floppy disk drive has been devised especially for those with a computers like this, where in you can connect this device to the USB port and then go ahead with what you want with it.


Functions of USB Floppy Drive:-

• Can read floppies

• Save new information on floppy disk.

• Connect externally at any USB port if no built -in floppy drive is available.

The USB floppy drive comes with all those functionalities that the traditional built -in drive has. One can read floppies through it and can write or save data as desired. However, the only difference with it is that it is connected externally. They go with any machine which is compatible to USB Mass Storage Devices. In fact, firmware support is provided by many modern systems in order to boot to a USB floppy drive.
